INSURE24 LIMITED is the controller of personal information collected through this website and enquiry service under the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018. Legal4U is a legal enquiry intake and professional matching platform, not a law firm.
Information we collect
We may collect your name, contact details, address, information about your legal issue, deadlines, preferred contact method, documents you choose to provide, referral and campaign information, and technical security records. Please do not send original documents or information that is not needed for an initial suitability review.
How and why we use it
We use enquiry information to respond to you, assess the route and suitability of an enquiry, introduce it to an appropriate independent legal professional or firm where suitable, maintain service and security records, handle complaints, and comply with legal obligations. Depending on the activity, our lawful bases may be steps requested before entering a contract, legitimate interests in operating and protecting the service, consent, or compliance with a legal obligation.
Who we share information with
Where appropriate, we may share relevant enquiry information with independent solicitors, barristers, other authorised legal professionals or firms so they can decide whether they can help. We may also use vetted service providers for hosting, communications, security, analytics and administration, and disclose information when required by law. A professional or firm that accepts an enquiry will explain how it handles information in its own privacy notice.
International transfers
Some technology providers may process information outside the UK. Where this happens, we use an appropriate lawful transfer mechanism and proportionate safeguards where required.
How long we keep information
We retain information only for as long as reasonably needed for the enquiry, service administration, security, complaints and legal obligations. Different records have different retention periods. We periodically review records and securely delete or anonymise them when they are no longer required.

Security and automated decisions
We use proportionate organisational and technical controls to protect information. Automated checks may help detect spam or prioritise an enquiry for review, but a website submission does not by itself create a solicitor-client or barrister-client relationship or determine a legal outcome.
